In most people with Alzheimer’s, symptoms first appear after age 60. Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease can have high physical, emotional and financial costs. Becoming well-informed about the disease is one important long-term strategy. Join Joyce Fernandez from Alzheimer’s Disease Association and a caregiver to learn more on a Thursday afternoon.

A shoulder massage is one of the best possible methods of curing pain in the shoulders. It not only helps in pain relief, but also restores complete motion in the affected shoulder. A shoulder massage provides deep relaxation to the stressed shoulder muscles, stimulates the flow of blood and improves the functioning of the lymph system. A shoulder massage is a natural analgesic because it stimulates the release of endorphins. In addition, it is an excellent stress buster and can make you feel relaxed and recharged. Learn the technique of shoulder massage in an interactive session with Stella Goo, wellness consultant, for our loved ones. To pre-register, call WINGS at 6250 1012. Registration is open for women 40s and above only. Sign up as a member and enjoy a member's rate immediately.
