Who?
Besides myself, there are many other people who have contributed to this site so far. I call them the behind-the-scenes crew. I would like to credit the wonderful design of this site to Anna Bervander and for the IT advice and just being a good friend, Nathanael Ong. And a special thanks also the Web development folks, Maxias Pte Ltd (Glenn, Sarhan & Simon).
There are also some wonderful individuals who are inspiring in their own right, who are serving as advisers or "ambassadors" to this site after some arm-twisting (just kidding). I chose them because they epitomise what agelessonline is all about (I hope to add more people as time goes on):

MARY LIM At 60, she’s an exercise fanatic and can do half-an-hour to an hour non-stop swinging her two strings of wooden ball hula-hoops. Lim also believes wholeheartedly in giving back to the community, donating blood and doing free haircuts at an elderly home. |

DICK YIP This winner of the Active Agers-Infocomm Champion Award 2008 is an active blogger with three blogs that he maintains. And he used to be a technology dinosaur and he taught himself! Yip, 61, even downloads software and adds applications to his blog to hopefully generate income. His talents extend beyond technology – he plays the ukelele and guitar. |

TAN PENG ANN At 61, Tan already owns two cafés and a partnership on another existing café called Wild Pot at the Singapore Management University. He hopes to promote this business model to other seniors as he calls it a “low-cost” investment and will keep seniors occupied. He also shares his thoughts about a graceful and fulfilling retirement in a book called “Create Your Rainbow”. |

CATHERINE SNG Sng is a veteran on the local stage, TV, movies and experimental short films. She has made a guest appearance on the TV comedy “Police & Thief” and played the lead in a movie called “Unarmed Combat” and starred in “Chicken Rice Wars”. Fifty-eight-year-old Sng is currently the founder and principal trainer of The Glowers Drama Group (for seniors). She is also a colon cancer survivor. |

ZAIBUN SIRAJ This happy lady is spreading happiness in all the nooks and crannies in Singapore! A former president of AWARE and an ex-trainer from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Siraj has written a book on happiness called “Zany, zeal, zest and zing: The z way to happiness” and has even reached the finals for Singapore’s Happiest Person Award. Sporting her signature purple hair, she shows that being 62 is not all dull! She is also one of six seniors who won the 2009 Active Agers Awards. |

AMY LAM Don’t mess with this 59-year-old grandmother of four! In 2005, she hiked the grueling 3,500 km Appalachian Trail that covers 14 states in the US and became the first Singaporean to do so. Though she swears she won’t be doing that a second time, she is happy to travel all over the world and also spends time talking about her hike and researching her family tree. |

LIONEL DE SOUZA
This very active 66-year-old senior is currently managing director of his own private investigation agency, LJ Investigation & Consultancy Services. A retired police officer, he has been on TV and newspapers dispensing advice plus he is active in the community as a Crime Prevention Ambassador under the National Crime Prevention Council, a grassroots leader and the assistant honorary secretary of the Singapore Police Retirees’ Association. He was recently given the “Most Outstanding Crime Prevention Ambassador” Award for 2008 – 2009. |
