Heart health campaign

Manulife Singapore puts the spotlight on heart disease through a video.

Manulife Singapore has launched a new heart health campaign, spotlighting the issue of heart disease amongst women aged 40 to 70 years old.

In 2019, Manulife conducted a heart health survey revealing that a majority of female respondents believe that cancers are the leading cause of death. While it is true that breast cancer kills one in 10 women, there is another silent killer that claims one in three women. And yet, less than 10 percent know its name – heart disease.

Created to raise awareness among Singaporeans on the need for adequate coverage on critical illnesses like heart disease, this campaign is anchored by a video featuring breast cancer survivors who are also heart health advocates. Manulife is using one of its critical illness plans, Critical SelectCare, as the anchor to the campaign and to debunk the myth that purchasing a protection plan after the age of 40 can be difficult.
